I called Dr Yehia for these questions....
I called dr Yehia now to ask him about the following questions:
A) Sheet 2:
1) use the general equation: Pn = Po * (1 +i/100)^n
2) use the consumption increase rate equation: I = (1 + i/10)^n - 1
B) Sheet 3:
In line B: use different slope for each pipe (as I did in the excel file)
In general steps of calculating I.L: DO NOT GO BACK AND CHANGE I.L OF PREVIOUS MANHOLES, whatever happens.
I will modify the steps of longitudinal section and upload it again
By the way, all steps I uploaded are right, but dr Yehia told me that we are not supposed to work with this accuracy in tomorrow's exam
Engineer Eman explained lot of correct details in the last section (which were all mentioned in the steps document), but we will only be asked to do the minimum basic steps ONLY

Re: I called Dr Yehia for these questions....
inorder to get RCn , RCn = RCo * I ??
Qavg at target year = RCn *Pn
Qavg at target year = RCn *Pn

Re: I called Dr Yehia for these questions....
and when using i in the above equation its in percentage ?
like i=2%
i use it in I equation as 2 or 0.02 ?
like i=2%
i use it in I equation as 2 or 0.02 ?

Re: I called Dr Yehia for these questions....
so RCn= I*RCo or is it RCn = ( 1+I)^n * RCo ????

That was the same question I just asked the dr now
He said,, RCn= I*RCo

Of course add 1 first.
Then let's make it: RCn= (1+ I) *RCo
Or you can calculate I without subtracting 1.
:)
Wla tez3al :)
