r: rate of increase in water consumption
R: rate of increase in population
n=target year - current year
r=R/10 .................say R=2% then r= 2/1000
RCn=RCo*(1+r)^n

I can't understand which problem you are talking about ??
Is that the same sheet2 I have ??

In sheet2, the problem gives the rates of population increase and it didn't mention the rate of water consumption increase, so I think we will simply ignore the water consumption increase and use the given consumption rate.

Why do I feel that you are talking about totally different problem ?

Do the dr said that this relations are empirical or we can use it in any problem ??

For example, the first lecture of Dr Ali, he used an empirical equation to calculate the cost. This equation won't be used in any problem, and the cost equation should be given.
